Wellington City Council have used TerraCottem at Ben Burn Park in Karori, Wellington. Justin Garbutt in charge of Parks and Sports Facilities said that in using TerraCottem soil conditioner has fast tracked the establishment of the Pohutukawa in the park. They had attempted 4 times to get trees to establish on the site and only this installation has survived.
Justin mentioned that the cost to install and trees performance have been very pleasing and will continue to use it as a specified item for tree installation.
Councils in New Zealand has widely use TerraCottem soil conditioners in their street tree planting and Queenstown Lakes District Council and Taupo District Council had very good results in dry and arid conditions.
